Thanks for a very comprehensive analysis of digital watermarking guys. It’s a subject I have followed closely since its inception and its original use in security document authentication. Its application in packaging recycling is a major achievement and I look forward to learning more in your future pods about this subject and how it’s applied in DRS.

Who knew this stuff was so complicated? James and Robbie make recycling fascinating and fun! Can’t wait for the ‘black plastic’ episode!

Love this weekly podcast as it’s really informative in a fun way and I’ve learned loads. James is an excellent host with a great sense of humour and although Robbie brings some great knowledge (without doing much research!), his constant giggling can get a bit annoying.

What a really informative discussion about different recycling challenges. I must admit that the first couple of episodes I listened to I found all the laughing a little distracting. Now I have got over the laughing I am learning lots. Amazing the different challenges for recycling in Asia which is where I am based working on recycling and the wider sustainability challenges with stakeholders.

A light hearted and accessible podcast, that gives details on processes and innovations, yet also provides answers to the small niggling questions and queries.

I look forward to this podcast every week. An entertaining look at the world of rubbish with lots of tips and advice about getting around the world of recycling. I work for a packaging company so am particularly interested in a lot of the topics even if not all of it is relevant to me since I live in Germany.

Loads of ‘makes you think moments’ and insight into unintended consequences - the carrier bag ban increasing plastic usage! Who knew.

I love this show. The guys are funny and don’t take themselves as seriously as they take recycling. They’re not really judgemental of people who aren’t perfect. I can’t do everything I should but I’m trying to do more slowly and this gives me great tips and hints on how I can improve what I’m doing without totally changing my lifestyle.

Rubbish and recycling sounds rather worthy but it’s a jolly, encouraging and massively informative listen, from two proper experts. Brilliant, well done James and Robbie.

Big recommendation if you’re even a tiny bit interested in our ‘throwaway’ world

I’ve now binged the whole collection- and learnt so much about the recycling process. I’ve a ‘do my best in a busy life’ approach to recycling - this podcast has given me tips to make a couple of simple life changes. Because quite a bit of recycling advice is nuanced, a long form podcast is a much better way of getting info than googled newspaper articles. These chaps also know their rubbish, and I’m confident if I keep listening I’ll be up to speed with the latest advice as the processes update. Also, unlike most of the people who review or write in who seem to be friends of or related to the hosts (I’m guessing there’s quite a community of rubbish people that the pod landed with initially), I’ve never met or heard of them before this - so this is an independent review from someone who’s never sent James a glittery birthday card (but I pledge that I’d never do that on the unlikely chance I ever do meet you). Cheers chaps.

I love this podcast. It’s a source of interest and fascinating facts, I always look forward to the next episode. I’m a keen recycler and love the depth of detail that gets discussed and amount of knowledge dispensed

First up, disclosure, I know both James and Robbie. They didn’t however ask me to listen to or rate their podcast. I’ve just listened for the first time and I have to say that it is excellent. Very natural, entertaining, engaging and interesting. I would highly recommend. Great job!

Who would have thought that talking rubbish could be so addictive! It’s that rare find of humour, informative, climate focus and good production quality. I’ve listened to a few podcast on sustainability and they can be hard work and sound poor but not with James and Robbie, they make would should be a dry subject… well not rubbish! Each episode I come away with a new aha moment and something to share.
